The mission of St. Kentigern's School is to serve the community it represents. The exemplar model we follow is that of Jesus Christ and His Gospel. In all its functions the school will strive to reflect this absolute model.

All aspects of the curriculum offered should reflect the distinctive nature of our Catholic belief, set in a framework of opportunity for all. The school must offer security and sometimes even refuge, to its children. Through a caring but firm and impartial structure it should create the means for each child to realise the talents and aptitudes which each possesses. At the same time each child will be taught self-discipline, and the need to respect the rights of others.

Mission is the commitment of all Christians, by virtue of their Baptism, to work at bringing about the Spirit of the Gospel, which permeates all elements, and aspects of their lives, their society, and their world.
