At St. Kentigern's RC School, here in Fallowfield, we have one of the strongest sporting traditions in the whole of Manchester. We are very proud of our sporting acheivements, and we know how important it is to develop and challenge our bodies as we continue to develop and grow our minds. This year we have once again proved strong competitors in all sports. At the time of writing, we are currently Manchester Indoor Athletics Champions, (both central area and Greater Manchester), Greater Manchester Athletics Champions, (good luck with the defence of that crown this week), Manchester Catholic Schools Overall Winners and the St. Kentigern's Invitational Athletics Champions.
 

On Monday St. Kentigern's Athletics Team won the Central Area Championships by a wide margin at Loreto High School. There were many outstanding performances and the girls team won every event.

St. Kentigern's now qualify for the Manchester final at Sportscity in March.
